Chairman Muslim Institute Visited Rumi Forum

Rumi Forum hosted Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali, Chairman Muslim Institute and Secretary General of Islahee Jamaat aur Aalmi Tanzeem-ul-Arifeen, along with a group of research associates of the Muslim Institute on a dinner at the Rumi Forum Islamabad Center on August 26, 2015.

Mr. Suat Erguvan, Executive President, welcomed Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali, who is also the tenth descendant of the renowned Sufi of Islamic-world Hazrat Sultan Bahoo (r.a), and expressed his gladness on his visit to the Rumi Forum. During the conversations, various issues on Islam, Sufism and modern challenges were discussed. Highlighting the importance of institutional collaborations, Mr. Erguvan stated potential avenues for holding joint programs and raising awareness on the evergreen messages of Jalaluddin Rumi and Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal.

Embedded with inspiring anecdotes from the life of Rasulullah (s.a.w) and oft references to the works of Rumi and Iqbal, the conversation touched on the contemporary challenges faced by the Muslim world and humanity at large and how Muslims by constructive efforts may help bringing peace and tranquility to their society and the world.

The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs.
